Pastor Ben @benapierce and his wife Melissa @melissa.w.pierce are the Lead Pastors of Generation Church in Jupiter, FL. Pastor Ben was born and raised in Tennessee, where he attended World Changers Bible Institute and developed a deep passion for studying scripture and leading people. He continued his studies at Virginia Commonwealth University where he received his Bachelor’s degrees in both Chemistry and Biology.

In 2008, he and Melissa felt God’s prompting to start a church and begin reaching people at a greater capacity. Prior to working in ministry, they both worked successful business careers that gave them personal insight into the culture and needs of our society. After a visit to Jupiter, they both felt a strong, supernatural love for the city and knew they had found their home.

Together, they have committed their lives to relentlessly loving and leading the Generation Church family as well as inspiring a generation to follow Jesus here in Jupiter, FL.

OUR BELIEFS

[ THE BIBLE ]

The Bible is the inspired Word of God; a revelation of love written from God to us. It is the infallible rule of faith and action and is superior to conscience and reason, but not contrary to it (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Peter 1:23-25; Hebrews 4:12).

[ HUMANITY ]

Man was created good and upright, for God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, after Our Likeness.” By voluntary transgression, man chose sin over life and has been redeemed through Christ’s death on the cross (Genesis 1:26-31, 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21).

[ BAPTISM ]

Baptism is an outward expression of an inward decision to repent of sin and commit one’s heart fully to God. It represents one’s complete surrender to Jesus and acceptance of new life through His sacrifice (Matt.28:19; Acts 10:47,48; Romans 6:4).

[ OUR FAITH ]

When we believe in God, our natural response is to seek the promise of the Father, Baptism of the Holy Spirit (supernatural passion). This was the normal experience of all in the early Christian church. With it comes the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4-8; I Cor. 12:1-31).

[ THE CHURCH ]

The church is the body of Christ in which God’s Spirit moves and fulfills the great commission. Everyone who believes is born of the Spirit and is an integral part of the church, as God has designated every believer a unique purpose in life (Eph. 1:22; 2:19-22; Hebrews 12:23).

[ HELL ]

Those who have not accepted the love of Jesus will experience eternal separation from the Godhead. The devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet, and anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life, shall be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake of fire (Rev. 19:20; 20:10-15).

[ THE TRINITY ]

The triune Godhead is comprised of 3 separate and distinct personalities- The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. They are eternally self-existent, self-revealed and function as one entity. Jesus Christ, who is God manifested in the flesh, is the second member of the Godhead, co-equal and co-eternal with The Father and The Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:13-17).

[ SALVATION ]

Our only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ became sin and has provided both salvation and divine healing for all mankind while being justified freely by God’s Grace through his love and redemption (Psalm 103:3).

[ COMMUNION ]

“And when He had given thanks, He broke it, and said, `This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me. ‘In the same way also the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.’ Let a man examine himself, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup” (I Cor.11:24, 25, 28). Communion is an act of honor, thanksgiving and remembrance for the price that Jesus has paid for us.

[ HOLY SPIRIT BAPTISM ]

Baptism of the Holy Spirit is often evidenced by the speaking of other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and by the subsequent manifestation of spiritual power in public testimony and service (Acts 2:4; 10:44-46; 19:2,6; 1:8).

[ HEALING ]

God wants to heal us. It has already been provided for us through the resurrection of Jesus and is the privilege of every believer (Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:17, 1 Peter 2:24).

[ HIS RETURN ]

Jesus Christ will return with His Saints from Heaven to rule and reign for one thousand years on the earth as the Scriptures promised (Romans 11:25-27; II Thess. 1:7; Rev. 19:11-16; 20:1-7). After this, there will be a new heaven and a new earth (Rev.21).
